its been a while since my last entry. not that many people really read this blog, but i do wish i updated this more consistently.
its the first week of february. january felt like an absolute drag, but not in a bad way, i think. it was just slow. and cold- it was really cold. it snowed for the first time since i moved, two different storms hit the country, and ive had a runny nose for months now, but its all worth it.
im really growing into the mountainside thing. its lovely. i want to stay here for longer, and i want to write about it. i want to be able to translate the feeling of the snow and the rain and the cold into music - i want to experiment this year, and i want to make something new and unapolagetic.
i want to make music that feels like this january. i think i can work towards that goal.
oh, on another note - it's only 23 days until the ep drops :) im so excited to share this one with you. i had to fight a little to complete it ... i didnt have access to my boyfriend's streaming mic this time lol, so i had to go back to my roots and make do with my headphone mic, but im hoping to scrape up enough money this year to get a proper one. maybe over the summer. it makes a giant difference, now that ive used a slightly better mic. *sigh*.
soon. soon i will make new music. and very very soon, you'll have the loveletter ep, remastered and completely revamped -- we don't talk about the 2025 loveletter ep. that never existed. it's lost media. shut up.
ill see you soon again, hopefully; im going to go look at the snow now, write some shitty poetry about friends who came back from the fog, and then go to sleep when the sun rises.
